DFI-Day 2 Workflow

Today we were learning how to record a google meet and then embed it onto our Blog. I managed to remember the steps (after 2 failures) and then I showed someone else how to do it! Very cool but I wonder if I can do it again next week. Did you know it automatically saves into your drive and there is even a folder in your drive called Meet- wonders will never cease. Also today we looked at the Keep Note app that is on our Macs. This is also a good place to put notes and take photos as it keeps it here and you can also have the app on your phone so no need for double handling. We then spent some time adding comments to other people's posts.  That is one thing I really appreciate is being able to have time to have a play with what we are learning. I managed to cull my emails down by 1000- no judgements here please😀 This will certainly help with my workflow. The photo below shows this culling in action! Day 1 DFI Course

Well, today was my first DFI course day. Many of the teachers at school have completed this course and I have been seeing the benefits starting to be integrated in our studio. I was feeling apprehensive at first but as the day progressed I found that I was not as 'special needs' as I thought. Time will tell though 😀 Reflection of Day 1 What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy? That this has been around since 2006 and it came from a need and desire from whanau to have the same expectations for their children as others. What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? I didn't know the 'Explore' option was there and I can see the value of this.
